Terms of Service

Welcome to Wave Movement! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, booking platform, and participation in our mat Pilates classes. By booking or attending a class at Wave Movement, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to book classes.

  • Participants under 18 may attend with written parental or guardian consent.

2. Health and Safety

  • By participating in any class, you confirm that you are in good physical condition and understand that Pilates involves physical activity that carries inherent risks. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.

  • Please do not attend class if you are sick, contagious, or otherwise unwell.

  • Inform instructors of any injuries, conditions, or limitations before class.

3. Memberships, Classes, and Payments

  • Wave Movement uses Mariana Tek for class booking and payments. By booking through Mariana Tek, you also agree to their terms and policies.

  • All purchases (memberships, class packs, single classes) must be paid in full at the time of booking.

  • Memberships, credits, and class packages are non-refundable, non-transferable, and may not be shared.

4. Cancellations and Fees

  • Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours before class start time.

  • Late cancellations (less than 12 hours’ notice) will result in a $10 fee.

  • No-shows (failure to attend without cancellation) will result in a $20 fee.

  • No monetary refunds are offered. Class credits may be issued at Wave Movement’s discretion.

  • Workshops, special events, or private sessions may have different cancellation policies.

5. Studio Conduct

  • Respect instructors, staff, and fellow participants.

  • No phones are allowed inside the studio unless explicit approval is granted by staff.

  • Use equipment properly and return it after use.

  • Wave Movement reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who disrupts classes, acts disrespectfully, or fails to comply with these Terms.

6. Media Release

  • By attending classes, you grant Wave Movement permission to use photos or videos taken in the studio for marketing purposes.

  • We will not use images that clearly show your face without your express permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • Wave Movement, LLC, its instructors, and staff are not liable for any injuries, accidents, illnesses, or damages that may occur during or after participation in classes.

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, you waive and release any claims against Wave Movement, LLC.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All content on our website, branding, and class materials are the property of Wave Movement, LLC and may not be copied, distributed, or used without permission.

9. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.

10. Changes to Terms

  • Wave Movement may update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our website and effective immediately. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
