I’m so excited to be teaching at Wave Movement! Pilates has been a passion of mine since I first started. Growing up in cheer and dance, I’ve always been drawn to movement that’s strong and expressive. Pilates became the perfect blend for me building strength, control, and confidence in a way that feels intentional. I’m so excited to bring that energy to the Wave Movement community and can’t wait to move with you!

Once I began Pilates, I fell in love with it instantly. The intentional movement and the strength it builds from the inside out is what first drew me in. I’ve always had a love for working out, but for me pilates has allowed me to walk out of every class feeling stronger, more confident, and in tune with my body. I am so excited to be your instructor and grow stronger together!

I’m so excited to be teaching at Wave Movement! With a background in dance and cheer, I’ve always been drawn to movement that feels strong, expressive, and empowering. As an ACE-certified Group Fitness Instructor, I also teach Full Body Strength at UNC–Chapel Hill, where I’ve developed a passion for creating high-energy, motivating classes. Pilates has became the perfect blend for me as it combines strength, control, and rhythm in a way that builds confidence from the inside out. I can’t wait to move with you!

  • Gigi Franz

I’ve always loved being active and moving my body, and I quickly fell in love with the mind-body connection Pilates creates. After teaching barre for a couple of years, I developed a strong focus on form, intentional movement, and helping people feel confident in what their bodies can do. I’m passionate about creating a space where you feel supported, challenged, and proud of yourself. Expect fun sequences, thoughtful transitions, and playlists that keep the energy high! My goal is for you to leave every class feeling stronger, more confident, and empowered.

  • Ilza Arefyeva

Sculpt and Pilates are such a big part of my life and a way I have found community through taking and teaching classes. Movement is an important part of my daily routine - it’s a way I reset and build both physical and mental strength. I hope that my classes provide the same sense of community and you leave feeling stronger physically and mentally. Can’t wait to move together!
